Performs the following in accordance with established practices and protocols, and at the request of the primary care physician: EKG’s, holter monitors, phlebotomy, peak flows, simple dressings, non-complex laboratory procedures (e.g., clean catch urine, dipstick, finger sticks, etc.), in accordance with OSHA guidelines. Ensures that patient’s medical record is available and prepares record with necessary lab/x-ray results, tests, procedures and other forms as appropriate (e.g., growth charts, immunization forms, consents, etc.) prior to scheduled visit.
