Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and two years of professional nursing experience demonstrating knowledge of infection prevention, communicable disease management, epidemiology, quality improvement, or related clinical practice. This position serves as the primary clinical resource for infection prevention practices and provides consultation to nursing, medical, environmental services, custody, and administrative leadership regarding communicable disease prevention, surveillance, isolation precautions, outbreak response, and infection-control practices.
