Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible compact stateLicensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:Current RN licensure in Virginia AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalentExperience REQUIRED:Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experienceCharge Nurse experience or supervisory experienceExperience PREFERRED:Academic Health Care experienceExperience with similar patient population in either an acute care setting or as applicable to area of practiceEducation/training REQUIRED:Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program recognized and/or approved by the corresponding state’s Board of Nursing. Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable):Organizes work and delegates and supervises others (RN’s, LPNs, Care Partners, Unit Secretaries, etc) in carrying out assignmentsAdditional position requirements:Clinical Coordinators work designated shifts, days of the week, and/or holidays based on work area.
