You'll be part of a collaborative team providing cutting-edge care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients and critically ill cardiac patients requiring advanced mechanical support, all while developing expertise with specialized equipment including ECMO, Impella, and IABP in a supportive teaching hospital setting with excellent interdisciplinary resources. Comprehensive case mix including post-operative CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic aneurysm/dissection, cardiogenic shock, acute MI, acute heart failure, respiratory failure, and cardiac arrhythmias.
