Job Title: Wound Care Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Hours per Shift: 7.5 Experience: Two (2) years of Med/Surg experience, Wound and Colostomy experience License: Client RN License Certifications: Current certification in one of the following: Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN), Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON), Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN), Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC) Must-Have: - Health assessment interview - Wound care - Ostomy - Continence related care - Focused physical assessment Description: Conducts health assessment interviews focused on wound, ostomy, and continence related care. Teaches, counsels, and assists individuals and families in assuming responsibility for the prevention of complications related to ostomies, wounds, or continence problems.
