Successful candidates will: Teach undergraduate nursing courses in the RN to BSN and Concurrent Enrollment programs in online, traditional, or other instructional formats as assigned; Teach courses appropriate to the candidate's education and professional expertise; Support registered nurses completing the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and students concurrently completing associate degree and BSN requirements; Provide effective academic support, mentoring, and guidance to nursing students; Incorporate evidence-based nursing practice, quality and safety principles, professional communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making into instruction; Participate in curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement; Assist with student recruitment, retention, progression, and completion initiatives; Collaborate with nursing faculty, academic advisors, and college leadership to support student success; Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community colleges, healthcare organizations, clinical partners, and other regional stakeholders; Participate in Nursing Program, College, and University committees and activities; and. In addition to academic excellence, A&M-Victoria has a thriving Athletics program that offers six competitive teams: baseball, softball, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's golf.
