The successful engineer will have owned mechanical systems through the challenges encountered during development and production, including reliability failures, wear and fatigue issues, manufacturing constraints, supplier quality challenges, tolerance stack-up issues, and the difficult design trade-offs required to deliver robust, scalable products without compromising long-term performance. Experience selecting materials and manufacturing processes for high-volume products, including sheet metal, aluminum extrusions, castings, machined components, and injection-molded plastics.
