The Radiation Oncology RN, as a member of the team, is responsible for assessing and providing the appropriate nursing intervention for the actual and potential problems that the patient and family may experience related to the disease process, treatment course and follow-up period. The team provides patient care and supportive services that are directed towards achievement of patient care outcomes through the integrated skills of all team members in the department.
