2+ years of experience in field sales, business development, or brand/retail activation (cannabis, CPG, or specialty retail preferred) • Proven ability to prospect, pitch, and close new business • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, territory-based role • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic reporting • Passion for cannabis culture, concentrates, and premium consumer products • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (products, displays, event materials, and demo kits), with or without reasonable accommodation • Reliability and professionalism • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory, including multi-week travel periods • Valid driver's license and ability to legally operate a motor vehicle for work-related travel • Reliable transportation for frequent in-territory travel • Must be able to legally access licensed cannabis retail locations as required for the role. • Identify, research, and qualify new retail partners within assigned territory • Prospect new accounts through in-person visits, outbound outreach, and local market research • Set meetings with buyers and key decision-makers • Deliver compelling product pitches and handle early-stage objections • Own the first sale from introduction through close • Ensure a clean and thorough handoff to Account Management post-close • Maintain accurate CRM records for prospects, pipeline, activity, and closed business • Partner cross-functionally and provide feedback to HQ on market trends and customer insights.
