Incorporate best practices for healthcare security operations in all entities, including recruitment of officers, training for new officers, and in-service training for all officers and supervisors, leveraging of a central operations for video review, alarm tracking, common communications 24 24-hour access to a supervisor and to an on-call manager, data analysis of trends, benchmarking, and investigations. + Establish critical competencies for department leaders and officers to include required training on specific subjects annually (Use of force, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, defensive tactics, inpatient psych shadowing program) as well as the site-specific orientation that all officers go through as part of the on-the-job training.
