The Director of Engineering must be able to work independently and collaboratively while managing responsibilities that include maintaining building exteriors, parking areas, and common spaces; servicing equipment within guest residences; conducting monthly safety inspections; training staff on safety and emergency procedures; and coordinating with external vendors. The role demands broad maintenance expertise, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and well-rounded knowledge in areas such as grounds and pool/spa maintenance, elevator systems, painting, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, and equipment and tool operation.
