This role has comprehensive control and accountability over all aspects of safety, including but not limited to: OSHA Regulatory Programs, safety reporting, Workers' Compensation, internal safety policies, Medical First Response, hazard identification, injury case management and trend analysis, Management of Change (MoC), training, and the safety budget. When working in the plant, exposure may include extreme temperatures, high noise levels, mechanical hazards, elevated work areas, and airborne substances (dust, mist, gas, fumes).
