<ul style="list-style:square;font-family:'calibri' , 'candara' , sans-serif;font-size:11pt;color:#000000"><li>Promotes the Gilbane Cares safety culture</li><li>Ensures contractor activities are preplanned for safety through scope review, preconstruction meetings, JHA review, STAs, etc.</li><li>Ensures contractors meet Gilbane safety submittal requirements</li><li>Ensures contractor compliance with Gilbane safety plan & expectations</li><li>Maintains all safety related documentation</li><li>Makes recommendations concerning situations hazardous to employee safety or health</li><li>Utilizes SafetyNet to audit and monitor project team implementation of the Safety Plan</li><li>Performs at least 15 SafetyNet inspections per month with at least 100 observations in each inspection</li><li>Provides safety training to project teams on Gilbane, client, and OSHA requirements</li><li>Investigates all accidents/near misses and completes all paperwork required</li><li>Ensures project teams have safety equipment and resources</li><li>Serves as project liaison and manages project correspondence with Insurance carriers</li><li>Maintains all safety related documentation</li><li>Coaches and mentors less experienced team members</li><li>Supports a positive and inclusive work environment</li></ul>

Qualifications:

General Summary
To assist and advise the Assistant Manager of Safety Operations with the implementation of Kia Georgias Safety and incident prevention measures to comply with corporate, local, state, and federal related safety regulation, directives, and policies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Support Assistant Manager in administration activities supporting Contractor Safety Management utilizing ISNetworld and other programs.</li><li>Examine plant equipment slated for purchase and proposed facility modifications and additions for safety requirements.</li><li>Recommend design modifications recommendations to correct any deficiencies prior to purchase or use of equipment.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments of all production jobs within assigned areas & other off-line & sequencing areas as requested.</li><li>Conduct daily Safety Observation Tours (SOTs) utilizing i-Auditor.</li><li>Develop, modify, and facilitate delivery of Kia Georgia Safety Orientation to contractors, suppliers, vendors, & others as required, to ensure understanding of Kia Georgia policies and procedures.</li><li>Conduct detailed analyses supporting the SIFs program, develop plans, gather information and data supporting identification, reporting, corrective actions, and final results using the SIFs Risk Matrix.</li><li>Ensure all aspects of program meet all internal and external reporting criteria.</li><li>Conduct periodic inspections of plant machinery, equipment, & working conditions to ensure conformance to appropriate safety & health standards & regulations.</li><li>Support Assistant Manager in appropriate loss control & accident prevention countermeasures to comply with Kia Georgia mission & objectives.</li><li>Investigate incidents & working conditions, compiling data, providing remedial actions;
