Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:As the HSE Manager of our manufacturing site located in Belle, MO, you will play a critical role in driving a sustainable Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy while helping build a culture focused on operational excellence and Zero Loss principles.Being a key member of the plant leadership team, you will influence and drive the development, implementation, and long-term sustainability of comprehensive HSE programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Clorox standards. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both plant performance and employee safety.The role is fully on-site in Belle.In this role, you will:Leadership & Culture Development<ul><li>Lead and support the development and execution of the plant HSE strategy.</li><li>Drive safety improvement initiatives focused on reducing at-risk behaviors and unsafe conditions.</li><li>Champion a Zero Loss safety culture by influencing mindsets, behaviors, and capabilities across the site.</li><li>Increase hazard awareness and strengthen risk identification throughout the plant.</li><li>Lead HSE teams and committees while coaching and mentoring leaders, technical teams, and frontline employees.</li><li>Drive adoption of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.</li><li>Lead HSE education and awareness through training, communication, and development programs.</li><li>Partner closely with Corporate HSE teams to ensure alignment with Clorox standards and support site-specific needs.</li><li>Deliver world-class HSE performance through proactive risk management and prevention activities.</li></ul>HSE Systems, Compliance & Technical Support<ul><li>Establish and monitor metrics that support HSE performance goals.</li><li>Conduct site assessments and proactively identify risks or compliance gaps.</li><li>Develop and execute strategies supporting Zero Waste to Landfill initiatives.</li><li>Manage site HSE systems and provide support to ensure effective adoption and utilization.</li><li>Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis efforts to eliminate recurring risks.</li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and Clorox standards.</li><li>Serve as the primary contact for safety and environmental regulatory agencies and inspections.</li><li>Complete environmental reporting requirements accurately and on time.</li><li>Support workers' compensation processes in partnership with HR and plant teams.</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities<ul><li>Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure capital projects support key HSE priorities.</li><li>Provide HSE guidance as new technologies, equipment, and process improvements are introduced.</li><li>Lead initiatives supporting sustainability and environmental goals.</li><li>Travel periodically to support additional locations, including quarterly support for the Glen, MS facility.</li></ul>What we look for:We're looking for a strong HSE leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment and can influence change through both technical expertise and leadership capability.Required qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5-10 years of experience in similar roles in a manufacturing environment, with CPG industry experience preferred. Candidates without a degree may be considered if they have a combination of comparable work experience and education.</li><li>Knowledge of combustible dust, hot work, and hazardous energy control practices.</li><li>Experience with environmental regulatory management.</li><li>Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOL, and other regulatory requirements.</li><li>Experience leading complex Root Cause Analysis investigations.</li><li>Experience with manufacturing improvement methodologies including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SMED, Autonomous Maintenance, and Focused Improvement.</li><li>Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capability.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience leading HSE activities related to capital projects.</li><li>Experience supporting or leading workers' compensation programs.</li></ul>#Li-OnsiteWorkplace type:OnsiteOur values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people to be their best, professionally and personally. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.-Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900-Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100-Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300All ranges are subject to change in the future.
