The Safety Coordinator plans, organizes, implements, administrates, and evaluates the effectiveness of the safety program, both in the office and in the field, including telecom-specific industrial safety; occupational health and safety; traffic safety; and hazardous materials abatement and management to ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations governed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA and Cal/OSHA) and compliance with applicable environmental requirements. The employee will need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate work in extreme weather conditions, speak and hear worksite safety instructions, withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching and feeling, crouching, and crawling.
