Interfaces with department personnel, neighboring agencies, local businesses, the Red Cross, EMS, fire and police departments, gas and electric companies, the county, LDH, FEMA, GOHSEP and other local, state and federal representatives in the implementation of regional training, coordinating drills and emergency preparedness/response programs. The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for supervision and coordination of personnel and functions for the daily activities engaged in the operation and maintenance of the physical plant facilities and equipment, Emergency Management, Security and Bio-Med.
