Job Description: We are looking for on-site construction safety managers for various electrical construction projects consisting of electric substation breaker upgrades, relay upgrades, and generating station upgrades; various civil construction projects consisting of concrete structure rehabilitations, demolitions, and earthworks; and mechanical projects consisting of equipment upgrades and overhead crane upgrades. on W2 (DOE) Duration: 3+ months [Temp w/Temp to hire option (after 520 hours worked min.)] Work Location: Brooklyn, NY [LOCALS ONLY - Field work is required in Brooklyn and surrounding boroughs of NYC.] Work Hours: 7am-4pm/8am-5pm (approx) Work Days: Mon-Fri.

The NYC Roadway Safety Manager will be embedded within E-J’s Roadway & Outdoor Specialty division, serving as the primary safety leader for all roadway, bridge, tunnel, and outdoor electrical construction and maintenance operations across New York City’s five boroughs.

Ability to work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
