The EMT/Safety Technician is responsible for providing on-site first aid medical services, confined space rescue, and initial fire response as well as assists with various safety department duties including Workers Compensation, accident investigations, accident prevention programs, and safety training. Based on the founding principles of McWane in 1920, it is expected that all team members will know and exhibit the eight principles of The McWane Way: Safety, Environment, Leadership, Accountability, Excellence, Trust, Teamwork, and Communication as well as the values and behaviors supporting these principles.
