What You Bring** **Education & Experience** + Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, clinical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience (required) + Master's degree (preferred) + Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient or healthcare employee safety + Experience with managing complex programs and projects, specifically with a focus on quality improvement activities, and demonstrated successful completion of quality improvement projects with desired + Experience with workplace violence prevention, and/or quality improvement **Licensure & Certification** + Active Registered Nurse (RN) license is preferred + One of the following certifications obtained within 1 year of hire: + Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) + Certified Professional in Human Factors in Healthcare (CPHFH) + Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) + Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) **Skills** + Strong ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with clinical and executive leaders + Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills + Proven change management and program leadership capabilities + Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment + Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio (preferred) + Willingness to travel to PeaceHealth facilities as needed **Working Conditions** + Primarily office-based with time spent in hospitals and clinical settings + Sedentary work; occasional lifting up to 10 pounds + Frequent computer use and close visual acuity required **Why PeaceHealth** PeaceHealth is committed to the **physical, emotional, financial, social, and spiritual wellbeing** of our caregivers. **Annual Compensation:** $105,851 - $158,766 **What You'll Do** + Lead systemwide caregiver and patient safety programs, including safe patient handling, workplace violence prevention, Culture of Safety, and Cause Analysis initiatives.
