The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following knowledge, skills, abilities, and progressive experience that demonstrates readiness to successfully perform the duties and tasks of this position: Developing ability to interpret and analyze complex language and apply quantitative methods, gained through progressive experience performing analytical, research, or data-driven work. The Research and Fiscal Analysis division conducts constant observation and economic investigation of the effectiveness and adequacy of revenue laws of this state to assist the Governor, the Legislature, and the Director in estimation of revenue, analysis of tax measures, and determination of the administrative feasibility of proposed tax legislation.
