This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments including Sales, Quality, Materials, and Production. The Scheduler serves as a key player in the final stages of the supply chain, ensuring professional and efficient customer service while maintaining accurate records and logistics documentation.  This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.

Responsibilities:
Scheduler Responsibilities:<ul><li>Coordinate scheduling of customer orders to ensure on-time delivery.</li><li>Prepare and process job packets and print layouts for the operators.</li><li>Save all complete layouts. </li><li>Printing the Shop Schedules and labels.</li><li>Coordinate closely with Production, Sales, and Quality teams to resolve order discrepancies and support accurate fulfillment.</li><li>Provide responsive, professional customer service and follow through on outstanding orders or issues.</li><li>Utilize ERP systems (such as Oracle or PowerCerv) for data entry, order processing, and invoicing.</li><li>Maintain accurate, organized records.</li><li>Respond promptly to emails, calls, and internal communications.</li><li>Support a respectful and inclusive work environment, free of harassment and discrimination.</li><li>Adhere to company safety policies and participate in maintaining a safe working environment.</li><li>Perform additional scheduling and other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>Scheduler Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in scheduling, shipping, logistics coordination, or related administrative roles.</li><li>Experience in manufacturing or metal processing environments is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).</li><li>Experience with ERP systems; Oracle experience strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong data entry skills and familiarity with logistics documentation.</li><li>Ability to perform unit and measurement conversions and calculations accurately.</li><li>Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex procurement schedules to ensure that all materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a mastery of scheduling software (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project) and utilization of Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and streamline the supply chain lifecycle Location/Travel Information: This position is based at the *** LQF location with travel to off-site locations as required. This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired driver license at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job. Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Schedule Development - Critical Path Analysis - Software Management - Process Optimization - Stakeholder Coordination - Reporting - Risk Mitigation Essential Functions - Create integrated procurement schedules (Level 3/4) that align with project execution plans, baseline operations, or maintenance schedules. - Identify and monitor the procurement critical path, including long-lead items, to mitigate potential project delays. - Update and maintain schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, ensuring data integrity and accurate forecasting. - Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to identify bottlenecks in the "Procure-to-Pay" cycle and implement continuous improvement initiatives. - Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, and Logistics teams to validate lead times, shipping durations, and onsite required dates. - Generate Earned Value Management (EVM) reports, S-curves, and variance analysis for executive leadership. - Perform "What-If" scenario modeling to assess the impact of supply chain disruptions. Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment and an operating warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This role occasionally uses various size forklifts. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing, walking throughout areas of the facility are required.
