Sitting for 7-8 hours/day. Required to stand, walk, use fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, controls. Requires hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity. Reach with hands and arms. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to airborne particles. Must be able to view computer screens for long periods. Occasional stress related to workload and customers with problems.</li><li>JOB SUMMARY</li><li>Schedules OP tests in an efficient and timely manner. Responsible for coordinating tests with physician's schedule and various departments. Works with and has access to confidential patient information. Position requires a high degree of mental alertness and close visual attention to details. Position requires diplomacy and a professional image and manner in dealing with physician offices and clinic staff.</li></ul>Greet patients and arranges for the efficient and orderly registration of patients. Ensures that accurate patient and insurance information is collected and that patients are made aware of clinic policies and procedures. Answers telephone, answers billing questions from patients. Processes medical records request, information requests and general patient account functions. Works with and has access to confidential patient information. Position requires making frequent decisions or actions following general procedures often without clearly defined precedents. Position requires a high degree of mental alertness and close visual attention to details. Position requires diplomacy and a professional image and manner in dealing with patients, families, visitors, and clinic personnel. Patient Service Representative is responsible for a positive first impression of clinic personnel as the initial point of service contact for clinic customers. This position has high contact with patients, employees and physicians.

OverviewJob Summary Schedules patients with the appropriate imaging modality. Operates radiology equipment and performs routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians according to established standards and practices in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Job Responsibilities • Uses the hospital information and telecommunications systems to maintain records, correspondence, and reports to facilitate timely communication and accurate documentation. • Communicates with staff and customers by maintaining, receiving, conveying and recording information accurately. • Promotes customer satisfaction while maintaining a positive, professional manner in both verbal and nonverbal communication. • Performs radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety method as requested by a licensed physician. • Exercise judgement in selecting and computing settings for each patient. • Develop an appropriate procedure/treatment plan. • Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines. • Completes documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures. • Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff. • Participates in hospital and departmental performance improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards. Collects quality data for monitoring performance improvement.• Performs other duties as assigned. Experience Minimum Required Experience as obtained through the completion of a Radiology Technology Program.Education Minimum Required  Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT. Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with current Registry in Radiography ARRT(R) or new graduate who is waiting to take the registry. Preferred/DesiredAssociates degree in related field.Special Skills Minimum Required Basic computer skills, ability perform basic math computation. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to speak, articulate, and be understood clearly. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory. Utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments as demonstrated by procedure/treatment results. Demonstrates ability to receive and follow written and oral instructions; ability to plan and organize work. Licensure Minimum Required RRT(R); BLS Certification within 14 days of hire. New graduate who will obtain required registry within 120 days of hire. State license as required.
