Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.Must HaveActive-Duty Military ONLY within final 180 days of active-duty service. Reviewed maintenance requests and created executable work orders for mechanical equipment such as pumps, elevators, roll up doors, filters, and rotating machinery.

Genex Systems is looking for a Maintenance Work Control Planner/Scheduler to support the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering (CMOE) contract at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA.This position reports directly to the Work Control Center Manager. (25%) Travel between office and various facilities is required (<5%). This is an on-site position.  Physical Requirements:  Limited time spent on active work sites. Must be physically capable of walking and climbing over rough terrain and working at elevated heights and confined spaces. Work sites are commonly areas of high noise levels due to facility operations. (25%) Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions.
