SKILLS NEEDED: Able to create partnership relationships with the residents, their families, and our clinical and care teams Excellent customer service skills to respond to resident, family, team member and medical provider requests and concerns Ability to use independent observational skills to help determine resident needs and preferences Calm, levelheaded demeanor to provide coaching, training, feedback, and motivation to our caregivers Excellent verbal and written communication that is factual, based on observation and not subjective Able to provide leadership that inspires others A capability to communicate a vision and simultaneously manage the implementation of the vision A refined listening and observational skill set to help understand the unique dynamics that sometimes exist between an elder adult and the adult child Skilled in finding creative solutions to problems or perceived obstacles Office and computer skills including MS Office suite Ability to learn software that is necessary for the role A heart for service and compassion for elder adults RELATABLE EXPERIENCE: Experiences working with seniors to help them maintain their individualism and independence as they age Experiences working in other healthcare settings and with vulnerable populations Past roles that require building an effective team focused on customer service Prior experiences in helping others grow a career in a field they are passionate about Past roles that included leading a team through vision and values Jobs that have included scheduling, hiring, training and professional development Professional experiences that taught you the importance of follow through and problem solving to reach resolution QUALIFICATIONS: 1) At least 21 years of age.
