Opportunities for research collaboration exist within the Department, as well as with Rowan's two medical schools - the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) and the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine (SOM) - and with the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine, the first veterinary school in New Jersey, as well as Rowan's health-related research centers and clinical partners. The Department of Mathematics is specifically interested in candidates who will develop a research program in statistics and data science applied to health and life sciences, including biostatistics, epidemiology, statistical genomics, bioinformatics, computational biology, health informatics, and AI methods applied to biomedical data.
