A Bachelor's degree in Education or related field At least four years of successful PK-12 public school experience as a classroom teacher or equivalent in an urban setting (at least 5 years for some positions) Current or prior teacher certification in the United States Excellent oral and written communication skills Competence in use of technology such as Canvas and online repositories Demonstrated experience and ability to work well with individuals with different backgrounds Demonstrated commitment to educational equity Demonstrated commitment to educational support for groups from differing backgrounds Demonstrated familiarity and knowledge of Kansas City and its schools Demonstrated ability to mentor teachers Valid driver's license and access to transportation required.
