As a Tax Principal, you will have acquired the technical and business skills and experience to work effectively with all clients. You will manage multiple client engagements, with responsibilities ranging from keeping Partners informed on significant client developments, to resolving accounting and tax problems, to dealing with senior members of client management. You will be entrusted with a number of our top clients and be responsible for providing exceptional service and work-product. This is a great opportunity to work in a variety of industries, supervise staff and deal directly with clients. You will be responsible for managing each client engagement from a financial standpoint, which includes project budgeting, monitoring of job progress, billing, and collection. You will have important staff development and counseling responsibilities along with the responsibility for staff chargeability and productivity, as well as engagement profitability. Also, you will be expected to represent the Firm in professional, educational, and practice development activities. You will have demonstrated your overall ability to manage diverse client situations and will have developed a contact network for practice development purposes. You should be prepared and willing to take on the responsibility of signing returns. Future promotion will be based upon your successful handling of these responsibilities.
