Construction Inspector II: Requires High School or GED, 5 years progressive experience in fields providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities or any equivalent combination of progressive experience and technical training which provides the necessary knowledge and experience; OR an Associates degree in Construction/Building Trades, Civil Engineering or closely related field and 4 years of journey level experience in the construction/building trades, building inspection or closely related work; OR a Bachelors degree in Construction/Building Trades, Civil Engineering or closely related field and 2 years of journey level experience in the construction/building trades, building inspection or closely related work. Performs City Right-of-Way improvement inspections, Traffic/Work Zone Safety Inspections, Erosion and Sediment control inspections, Stormwater inspections, development and infrastructure inspections, and Single Family lot grading inspections.
