Additionally, the ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate: • Understanding of Financial statements, revenue, cost and margin • Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Sumif, etc.) • Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications (Word and PowerPoint) • Previous experience with Oracle or other ERP systems preferred • Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work assignments with limited guidance in a changing environment • Strong problem solving/ analytical skills • Ability to seek and obtain information from a wide range of sources and individuals both within, and outside of the Finance department • Must be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and complete assignments quickly and accurately • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly interpret and convey complex financial data to cross-functional teams and senior leaders • Previous experience with month end closing and budget planning preferred • Understanding of manufacturing cost structures, variance analysis, and cost drivers preferred • Experience with coding in Python, R, or comparable tools is a plus.
