About the RoleThe Cashier Club Operations is responsible for handling cash and credit transactions at the point of sales system for Club Operations.Position Responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for the pickup, countdown and return of cash bank from general cashiering</li><li>Responsible for the security and accuracy of assigned bank and is accountable for all coverage and shortages.</li></ul><ul><li>Greets guests in a friendly, courteous manner and answers inquiries before completing sales transactions, ensuring customer satisfaction.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintains accurate cash balance and handles money in a secure manner according to established standards.</li><li>Handles forms and equipment necessary to complete settlement of credit cards, coupons and room charges.</li><li>Will be assigned coat room functions as business needs dictate.</li></ul>Essential Functions <ul><li>Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.</li><li>Must be able to stand, sit, bend and twist for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas</li><li>Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds</li><li>Must be able to work holidays, weekends and flexible shift hours </li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand).</li><li>Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment while adhering to strict guidelines and controls.</li><li>Must be detail oriented.</li><li>Minimum one (1) year of cashiering experience. </li><li>Good mathematical skills. </li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Training & Development</li><li>Free Meal while on shift</li><li>Free Parking</li><li>Pay Rate: $16.00/hour</li></ul>
