Responsibilities:
The Dispatch Center Operators are responsible for a variety of tasks including dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls, logging downtime and department activity, computing park attendance information, answering park phone lines, issuing keys, radios, and badges, as well as other duties. The Operator must be able to answer multiple phone lines and monitor and dispatch information on all park radio channels. <h4>HOW YOU WILL DO IT</h4><ul><li>Following proper operating procedures.</li><li>Managing all park radio channels.</li><li>Dispatching park personnel to various calls.</li><li>Answering multiple phone lines.</li><li>Maintaining a professional environment by enforcing strict radio policies.</li><li>Logging ride downtime and security activity into appropriate databases.</li><li>Completing hourly attendance tracking.</li><li>Dispatching emergency situations in a calm, professional manner.</li><li>Ensuring Guest First Standards are followed and enforced.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li><li>Must be high school graduate or possess GED</li><li>Must possess a valid driver license</li><li>Must have a valid Texas Level 2 Security License</li><li>Previous security related experience preferred</li><li>Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Organized with the ability to multi-task</li><li>Safety conscious, mature, reliable and dependable</li><li>Outgoing and friendly demeanor</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written</li><li>Must be able to work flexible/rotating shifts including but not limited to overtime, nights, weekends and some holidays.</li></ul> <h4>OTHER NOTES: </h4><ul><li>May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole</li><li>Reports to the Public Safety Department Leadership</li></ul>
