Designs interfaces and brings system elements together, so they work as a whole, meeting customer requirements while being competitive· Efficiently develop cost and schedule competitive technical solutions – drawing on internal and partner expertise· Develop concepts in schedule, budget, and performance constrained environment· Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures· Use MBSE tools and techniques to rapidly develop detailed mission concepts to bid for new business· Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements· Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts· Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures· Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements· Technical management of program elements· Plan and conduct of technical reviews and technical baseline· Write status and technical performance reviews and reports· Mentor, coach, train, guide, direct and advise junior staff· Must be able to recognize and mitigate technical issues and risks while operating within budget and on schedule· The candidate will work with cross-discipline team members and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse community of engineers and managers to achieve the goals of the program teamIdeal ExperienceB.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other space-related discipline.
