We maintain a workforce with varying position and skill levels-based on education, experience, capability, and tenure-to create a clear career ladder, promote continuity of services, and sustain mission-ready performance.All Security Guards must be able to satisfactorily perform the services required under the contract and meet the minimum qualification standards and conditions of employment. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Control access to the facility in accordance with post orders (including after-hours, weekends, and holidays as assigned).</li><li>Conduct roving patrols and facility checks to deter and detect theft, fire, damage, and unsafe or suspicious activity.</li><li>Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; follow established notification and response procedures.</li><li>Operate radios and communication equipment to transmit and receive clear, accurate information.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs and write coherent incident reports in English.</li><li>Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while enforcing rules firmly and respectfully.</li><li>Maintain weapons proficiency and comply with required training, certifications, and qualification schedules.</li></ul> Minimum RequirementsSecurity Guards must meet all minimum requirements listed in the contract's personnel qualification standards and conditions of employment (Sections 2.1 and 2.2, as provided in the "Common Requirements" section of this posting). Topps Security is recruiting for Armed Security Guards to join our team! The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for protecting the client and assigned property from any criminal activity or trespassing.  The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, excellent observational skills and 2 years of previous surveillance experience, preferably in military/law enforcement environment.  This person should have the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations while exhibiting patience and a superb attention to detail.Responsibilities included but not limited to: <ul><li style="line-height:1.38">Screen personnel, packages, and vehicles for prohibited or unlawful items using manual, automated, or integrated screening techniques</li><li style="line-height:1.38">Prevent, discover, delay, and/or detain persons attempting to bring prohibited or unlawful items into the property and/or personnel at the facility being protected.</li><li style="line-height:1.38">Report all such incidents in accordance with established procedures as detailed in the Post Orders</li><li style="line-height:1.38">Answer questions and provide directions to visitors and facility tenants.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Patrol the grounds or buildings as assigned, regularly. </li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Respond to any alerts of suspicious activity. </li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc">High school diploma or equivalent is required</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Must 21 years of age or older</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Active Federal, State, and Local Firearm permit(s)</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Current or prior military and/or security experience</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Have all state/local licenses, permits, registrations, or certifications as required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position</li></ul>About Topps Security:Topps Private Investigation & Security Firm, LLC has over 30 years of law enforcement experience, combined with over ten years of private investigation and security experience.
