Job Summary The position is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service for the Sealaska Heritage Store by generating sales, merchandising, developing product knowledge, and assisting in developing store processes and procedures. Duties/Responsibilities <ul><li>Greets customers of the Sealaska Heritage store, including answering phones and directing customer inquiries to the appropriate person. </li><li>Receives and processes all payments according to standard procedures. </li><li>Assists in the opening and closing of the store, including cash handling. </li><li>Assists in floor moves, merchandizing, display maintenance, and store housekeeping. </li><li>Maintains awareness of product knowledge and promotions. </li><li>Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records. </li><li>Assists in the development of online store software, including photography, branding, and maintenance. </li><li>Assists in shipping and handling policy and procedure development. </li><li>Participates in collaboration meetings to enhance practices, procedures, and team building. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>Required Skills<ul><li>Excellent customer service skills </li><li>High degree of initiative </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills </li></ul>Supervisory Responsibility The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This position's duties are performed at the Walter Soboleff Building. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and point of sale equipment. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing. The employee must often lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. About this Role This position regularly requires frequent weekend work. Goldbelt Security (AK Ops) is separate arm of the Goldbelt Security, LLC, operating out of Juneau and reporting to the VP of Alaska Operations.    Summary:The Security Guard (Intermittent) performs routine security duties on an as-needed basis to protect property, assets, and personnel. This position provides coverage during staff absences, special events, or periods of increased security needs. The Security Guard conducts patrols, enforces rules and regulations, responds to incidents, and supports overall site safety. This role requires dependability, professionalism, and flexibility to work varying schedules based on operational requirements.

Qualifications:
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:· Solid understanding of security and safety practices· Ability to analyze and respond appropriately to incidents· Ability to observe and record events accurately· Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills· Ability to use sound judgment within established procedures· Proficient in report writing and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Minimum Qualifications:· High School Diploma or GED· Must be at least 18 years of age· At least 6-12 months experience with aligned core responsibilities as a licensed security guard· Experience in safety/security environments (e.g., military, law enforcement)· Eligible for State of Alaska Security Guard license· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening· Valid State driver’s license and clean record· Obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 3 months of hire· Must be able to work a flexible intermittent work schedulePreferred Qualifications:· Two (2) years of security, military, or law enforcement experience· Familiarity with industrial, mining, or similar operational environments Pay and Benefits At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
