Security Officer positions are responsible for safeguarding the facilities, including checking buildings and equipment are secure and checking for suspicious activity as well as report any suspicious activity to property owners and/or Law Enforcement if necessary, while the Supervisor's job is to make sure that the officers' needs are being met with the proper equipment, are wearing the proper uniform, right place, right time, etc. and will be put into the position to cover in an officers absence with little to no warning. The Scheduling Manager, along with the Patrol Supervisor, are responsible for overnight call-outs, patrol vehicle issues, etc. and will alternate your on-call nights as to have a proper and necessary family/work life balance - again making this a position for someone who understands shift work, and being able to function at a high level during all hours of the day or night.
