For us, these aren't just words on a piece of paper, they are what we live into as a team and aspire to daily. </p><p>Are you our next team member? </p><h5>What You Must Have To Apply </h5><ul><li>Valid State of California Professional Civil Engineer PE License </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited School </li><li>Five (5) or more years full-time experience as an Associate Engineer, or </li><li>Ten (10) years full time post graduate experience at an engineering firm managing projects from beginning to end, demonstrating proficiency in design package preparation, with a focus on project management and client satisfaction </li><li>Previous experience managing a minimum of ten (10) medium and large projects per year </li><li>Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, county and city statutes, rules, ordinances, codes and policies </li><li>Awareness of financial records, collection policies and accounting procedures </li><li>Exposure to employee mentoring and/or team leadership </li><li>Possession of valid California Driver's License and clear DMV Report </li></ul><h5>Your Skills </h5><ul><li>Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills </li><li>Approachable with outstanding communication, written and oral, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making </li><li>Ability to make complex computations and to check plans, calculations, and specifications </li><li>Proficient in the use of a personal computer and strong working knowledge AutoCAD, specifically Civil 3D, and Suite of Microsoft Office Products </li><li>Proficient in project management, leading a team, delegating tasks and managing budgets </li><li>A working knowledge of survey practices in both a field and office settingStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of an effective team </li></ul><h5>Your Job Responsibilities </h5><ul><li>Serve as a Project Manager including preparing, overseeing preparation of estimates, scopes and client / design team communication on projects. </li><li>Responsible for multidisciplinary projects that include internal or external subcontractor coordination, communication, and management </li><li>Works with professional staff and project teams to assess and meet engineering needs, requirements, and deadlines. </li><li>Meet with clients, contractors, agencies, etc. </li><li>Responsible for Client development and retention </li><li>Working on establishing agency relations and staying informed of changing agency policies, procedures and/or processes. </li><li>Responsible for budget control and client satisfaction </li><li>Share expertise and insight with staff with the goal of enhancing professional development and personal growth. </li><li>Maintain internal QA/QC on other engineer's work products. </li><li>Responsible charge of work performed including stamp and sign documents prepared by staff they are supervising. </li><li>Prepare and oversee preparation of calculations, plans, details, and specifications. </li><li>Perform job site visits and inspections. </li></ul><h5>Supervisory Responsibility </h5><ul><li>This position is eligible for supervisory responsibility of up to five (5) Associate Engineers or lower, and for Department Manager additional role </li><li>This position is responsible for reviewing work, training and mentoring team members </li></ul><h5>Compensation and Benefits </h5><ul><li>Pay Rate – $98,236 to $125,440 based on relevant experience </li><li>Medical Insurance – stipend that may cover up to 100% of premium </li><li>Dental Insurance - 100% paid by NorthStar </li><li>Vision Insurance - 100% paid by NorthStar </li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) </li><li>401(k) with 100% matching up to 4% of salary, 100% vesting immediately </li><li>8 days paid holidays </li><li>Licensure/Certification reimbursement of costs </li><li>Annual profit-sharing bonus </li><li>Relocation reimbursement </li></ul><h5>Opportunities </h5><ul><li>Owner Track - We are seeking a full-time, licensed professional who is ready to be on the track to company ownership and play a significant role in our growing Civil Engineering Department in Chico CA.
