Job Responsibilities: Operations includes the following Air Force Civil Engineer program areas: electrical and power production; heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration; carpentry, masonry, steel-working, welding, and signage; pavements, heavy equipment, and grounds maintenance; entomology and pest management; water, fuels, and sewage maintenance and management; work order planning, programming, and prioritization; asset management; supply and material control; service contract acquisition and management; condition-based maintenance (CBM); infrastructure condition assessment; enterprise asset management; CE equipment and vehicle validation and advocacy; infrastructure modernization; infrastructure protection; and enterprise engineering systems supporting installation sustainment and readiness and supports Civil Engineer governance. Support the planning, development, oversight, and execution of Operations programs and modernization initiatives, including but not limited to appropriated fund programs, non-appropriated fund programs, Defense Logistics Agency-administered programs, energy-related programs, overseas contingency operations policy, Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), infrastructure condition assessments, Enterprise Sustainment Management System (ESMS), NexGen IT, TRIRIGA, CE equipment and vehicle modernization and advocacy efforts, and other initiatives supporting installation readiness, sustainment, resilience, and operational effectiveness.
