Analyze, develop, and implement engineering solutions for complex systems operating under moderate technical uncertainty Assess the customer's architectural needs and desired capabilities and participate in requirements decomposition to ensure appropriate allocation of technical architecture elements Create innovative solutions to complex technical challenges in signal processing design Design, modify, and/or test existing electronic warfare signal‑processing and control algorithms, along with the associated system software Develop and execute test plans, including test simulations and lab tests to verify system capability Evaluate and assess functional performance of developmental RF systems, including signal processing subsystems, software, and/or firmware/control algorithms Support bid and proposal efforts by providing accurate labor estimations and material cost estimations Maintain organized workflows, documentation, and processes to support team operations Prepare and deliver technical presentations, design reviews, and test result briefings to internal teams and external stakeholders. Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant systems engineering experience RF system design, digital and analog signal processing, waveform and modulation analysis, and algorithm development, implementation, and testing Knowledge defining system architectures, including requirements derivation, allocation, traceability, and configuration management Experience with developing system models, simulations, and analytical tools to evaluate, predict, and optimize system performance Ability to support occasional business travel (20% or less).
