<h2>Position Overview</h2><p>Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join a dynamic team in California. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of accounting principles and a passion for financial accuracy. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned accountant to contribute to the financial success of the company and grow professionally.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Managing the payroll process biweekly, including initiating, reviewing, and approving payroll on ADP.</li><li>Importing approved TAS Payroll to NetSuite and billing each subsidiary from TAS.</li><li>Handling accounts receivable by confirming AP & AR imports to NetSuite, troubleshooting issues, and entering new customers.</li><li>Acting as a liaison for NetSuite, troubleshooting, and entering new vendors and customers.</li><li>Monitoring and processing Sales & Use Tax Returns on the CADTFA website.</li><li>Managing the general ledger by recording daily financial transactions and preparing adjusting entries.</li><li>Performing regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and various balance sheet accounts.</li><li>Assisting in the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Supporting audit and compliance by preparing necessary documentation and analyses.</li><li>Gathering information and preparing various tax returns to ensure compliance with laws.</li><li>Providing financial data and analysis to support budgeting and forecasting processes.</li><li>Analyzing current accounting procedures and recommending process improvements.</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite.</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a strong understanding of GAAP.</li><li>Knowledge of financial reporting and tax regulations.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time-management abilities.</li><li>Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.</li><li>A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.</li><li>More than 2 years of experience in the accounting field.</li></ul><h2>Required Work Hours</h2><p>The position requires working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.</p><h2></h2><h2>Additional Details</h2><p>The Senior Staff Accountant role is based in California, providing an excellent opportunity for growth within a supportive and engaging environment.</p><p><em>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
