What you'll need to be successful Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related field Hands‑on experience configuring and owning Workday Core HCM (this role requires real depth) Experience partnering with functional leaders to deliver enterprise‑scale, technology‑enabled People programs Strong command of Workday Core HCM data structures, business processes, and cross‑module dependencies Experience designing and maintaining role‑based Workday security models Experience owning a Workday domain post‑implementation, not just during go‑live Ability to clearly assess and articulate upstream and downstream impacts of configuration and release changes A systems and platform mindset-you think beyond the immediate request to long‑term implications Comfort pushing back when decisions introduce risk, rework, or long‑term instability Strong judgment around governance, compliance, and data integrity without becoming overly rigid Clear, confident communicator who can influence without authority Comfortable operating in an evolving, outcome‑focused environment Workday Core HCM certification preferred Additional Workday certifications (Benefits, Security) preferred. You will serve as the platform steward for Core HCM, Benefits, and Workday Security-ensuring worker data integrity, clean lifecycle processes, appropriate access, and durable configuration that can support growth and increasingly sophisticated People programs.
