As an RME Operator, you'll be at the heart of business operations, working behind the scenes to maintain the speed, accuracy, and exceptional service they're known for worldwide. In this role, you'll combine electronic, mechanical, computer, and automation engineering skills to keep complex high-performance manufacturing systems running smoothly. You'll work with cutting-edge robotics and material handling equipment that enables tens of thousands of products to reach hundreds of customers every day. What your day-to-day will look like: <ul><li>Ensure safety regulations and policies are strictly adhered to while installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment </li><li>Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyance equipment using established job plans, procedures, and technical manuals to ensure optimal performance </li><li>Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells to maintain equipment availability and process efficiency </li><li>Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling equipment components, ensuring minimal downtime </li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachs, and related equipment </li><li>Work collaboratively with journey workers and coordinate activities with upstream and downstream operations partners </li><li>Complete work assignments based on technical documents and instructions in compliance with relevant provisions and safety regulations </li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive equipment reliability and operational efficiency </li><li>Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking </li><li>Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 49 pounds </li><li>Standing/walking on concrete surfaces for 1 2 + hour shifts </li></ul>Required qualifications: <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>1+ years of PC software experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook </li><li>Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or above, OR 1+ years of RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) experience </li><li>Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items </li><li>Knowledge of mathematics and experience with measurement reading and interpretation </li><li>Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays </li><li>Ability to meet the minimum qualifying score on a Mechanical Aptitude Test </li><li>Ability to enroll in and attend a 9-week training program at one of four designated training providers (location determined post-interview) </li><li>This position requires schedule flexibility. While you will receive an initial shift assignment, your work schedule is subject to change based on business demands, operational requirements, and staffing needs. Advance notice will be provided when possible </li></ul>Preferred qualifications: <ul><li>4+ years of military experience </li><li>Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures </li><li>Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE) </li><li>Experience implementing safety standards and protocols in operational environments </li><li>Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics </li><li>Familiarity with robotics, conveyance systems, or automated equipment </li><li>Track record of contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in an operational environment </li></ul>At JLL, we work together to create a brighter future for our clients, colleagues, and communities.
