JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Plumber Apprentice Salary Block: Operations Support Pay Grade 4. Reports To: Plumber Foreman Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt Terms of Employment: 238 Days Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Texas Plumber Apprentice Registration, preferred Valid Texas driver's license 6 months experience in plumbing field, preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of plumbing codes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language Performance Responsibilities and Duties: Maintenance and Repair. Assists in assembling, installs, maintains, and pressure tests all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
