Collaborate with team members to maintain equipment and solve technical problems Model safety and share mechanical and electrical expertise to train other team members and champion a safety-first work environment Execute Planned Maintenance (PM) activities to proactively prevent failures and promote safe and efficient operations Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and equipment including motors, conveyors, bearings, gears, sprockets, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics and automation systems Work to reduce unplanned stoppages through effective root cause analysis Utilize mechanical and electrical tools, diagnostic instruments (meters), mechanical diagrams and schematics, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other digital tools to work safely and efficiently Perform basic rigging, mechanical practices and welding skills in an industrial environment. Once 12 weeks of training and orientation are completed, the shift will transition to nights (6 p.m.-6 a.m.), operating on a 2-2-3 schedule format (week one: two days on, two days off, three days on; week two: two days off, two days on, three days off).
