Ensure all company safety practices and procedures are followed by employees within the assigned area and that the department meets or exceeds safety objectives, including required safety meetings, inspections, JSA/SOP completion, housekeeping activities, and corrective actions. Participate in employee selection, onboarding, training, performance management, employee development, corrective action, and retention initiatives while ensuring employees receive the tools, resources, and support necessary to perform their work safely and effectively.
