Proficient in operating and maneuvering shuttle buses safely • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements • Ability to conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections • Mechanical awareness with the ability to identify and report vehicle defects • Effective route planning and navigation skills • Strong time management and reliability to meet delivery schedules • Clear communication skills for coordination with dispatch and operations • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • High level of professionalism and accountability when representing ABC Companies • Safety-focused mindset with strong risk recognition and decision-making skills. • Ability to sit for extended periods of time (6 hours per delivery assignment) • Ability to safely enter and exit a shuttle bus multiple times per shift • Ability to climb stairs and access elevated driver compartments • Ability to perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching • Sufficient vision with or without correction, hearing, and depth perception to operate a commercial motor vehicle safely.
