The Maintenance Trade Specialist I performs a variety of entry-level, skilled work including: carpentry duties; painting duties to include sanding, priming, and painting surfaces; minor plumbing work such as installing sinks, toilets and fountains; minor roof repairs; refinishing floors; minor electrical work; and other related maintenance jobs. The City provides a full range of municipal services—including public safety (i.e., Police and Fire Departments), utilities, parks and recreation, public works, and community development—while fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and innovation.
