Must have at least 24 months in clinical social work assignments, that may have included conducting individual and group psychotherapy, and marriage and family counseling; organizing, managing, and administering adult, child and family prevention and outreach services; interviewing clients to establish the nature and extent of concerns/issues, providing professional assistance, and determining appropriate referral services/opinions; and in planning and implementing professional community organizational strategies and initiatives; formulating of needs assessments, development of prevention programs, and marketing of developed programs. Possession of an active (characterized by present activity, participation, practice, or use); current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed); valid; and unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands, which allows practice without supervision.
