Produce high quality ultrasound images and obtain appropriate measurements for each exam • Recognize the sonographic appearance of normal and abnormal tissue structures and provide the best image quality for documentation • Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedure • Able to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations • Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD's, transfer images, and print from PACS • Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms • Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the department. As our Sonographer, you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care.
