Possess a minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography; Current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent Board-certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN Ultrasound; Two (2) years of recent clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound; Have experience teaching and/or precepting DMS students; Ability to connect and build relationships with students and colleagues from various ethnicities, ages, backgrounds, learning styles, and abilities; Computer competency to include Microsoft Office Suites applications; The gross and fine motor skills required to assist students and providing safe effective diagnostic ultrasound; The physical endurance and ability to work in a clinical setting with students for 4-6 hours; The physical endurance and strength sufficient to assist students with providing diagnostic ultrasound; and.
