As a Pallet Sorter, you’ll get to hand sort pallets within a distribution facility and ensure high levels of safety and cleanliness. What You'll Do:
 <ul><li>Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights </li></ul><ul><li>Load and unload materials from trailers by hand </li></ul><ul><li>Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the distribution center </li></ul><ul><li>Check loads to make sure they are secure </li></ul><ul><li>Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system </li></ul><ul><li>Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress </li></ul><ul><li>Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly </li></ul>

What You'll Need:
 <ul><li>High school degree or GED required</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills needed</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work overtime when needed</li></ul>

Position Overview The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible, using a pick list to pick customer orders from stored inventory and customer delivery. The role requires Specifically, the position involves the systematic retrieval of specific products from warehouse shelving to fulfill internal or external requisitions. As needed, perform general warehouse duties and assist with the sanitation, inventory, picking and shipping of all products, from the warehouse facility. This includes the physical handling of products, rotation of stock, inspection of items, and operation of material handling equipment Requirements Your Responsibilities <ul><li>Complete all assignments in accordance with food safety and handling regulations to ensure the integrity of products through proper inspection, handling, and storage procedures.</li><li>Accurately pick and select items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.</li><li>Use handheld scanners or mobile devices to track inventory and ensure accuracy. (not sure we do this)</li><li>Pack and label products for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards.</li><li>Picking out ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.</li><li>Affix product labels appropriately on cases (or products) then place them on pallets in an organized fashion.</li><li>Confirm the correct product has been selected and is damage-free.</li><li>Ensure consistent application of "first-in first-out" rule as it relates to picking orders. </li><li>Build a stable and well cubed pallet.</li><li>Securely shrink-wrapping items before placing them in envelopes or boxes.</li><li>Operating handling equipment according to industrial safety regulations.</li><li>Loading delivery vehicles.</li><li>Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved.</li><li>Managing stock control, including item replenishment and storage.</li><li>Clean aisles of debris and return pallet jacks to parking or charging areas.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.</li><li>Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize workplace accidents.</li><li>Perform pre-shift equipment checks to ensure they can operate safely.</li><li>Performing general warehouse duties as necessary.</li><li>Work in warm and cold temperature conditions that may range from 38°F to 110°F.</li><li>Take initiative in identifying areas of improvement within the department and working with management in resolving problems that arise.</li></ul> Your Qualifications • High school Diploma or equivalent. • Basic Math, Reading and Writing Skills in the English language. • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks. • Capable of following directions and communicating effectively. • Experience providing superior customer service by fulfilling orders with 100% accuracy. • Capable of working under pressure, completing various assignments responsibly and in a timely manner • Unwavering commitment to quality and excellence in organizational department goals and production standards. • Strong work ethic with the tenacity to work under pressure • Skills in operating and maintenance of warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, coolers, freezers, electronic scales, etc. • Forklift Certification is preferred and knowledge of Material Handling Equipment. • Belief in CTFB's mission, vision, values and culture. • Display a commitment to service above all else.
